Okay, fans. It is with great heartburn that on this Halloween I'm happy to announce the (pending) release of "One Dark Night" on DVD -- finally. Media Blasters has taken on the daunting task of resurrecting 'Raymar' and his friends so that all can once again be sickened, and hopefully frightened, by this long awaited little horror movie. Check the screamplay website: http://www.screamplay.biz for when and where to get your very own 'special edition' copy. As it looks now "One Dark Night" is likely to be a few weeks late of its intended release date of November 15, 2005 because of all the extra goodies that will be included. Again, check the screamplay website for details. And most importantly -- have a save and scary Halloween!

DVD Release This Summer? NOT!

Sorry, fans. (You still there?) It seems that with global warming, the 'new world order', outragous gas prices, the Michael Jackson verdict, and because Peter Piper doesn't pick packs of pickled peppers anymore -- there will be no ODN DVD release this summer. But I have a feeling that sometime before the earth tilts on its axis 'Raymar' will return. Three cheers for Raymar: "Hip, hip, hurRaymar!" "Hip, hip, hurRaymar!" "Hip, hip, hurRaymar!"

DVD: Don't Hold Your Breath!

For those of you that may have been expecting the ODN DVD release sometime this summer -- don't hold your breath. It was easier making the film than it is getting a DVD release. But good things come to those who wait. And wait. And wait. And while you're at it, why not wait some more?

Well, it's now May and still no ODN DVD. That's show biz, friends. There is a new disbributor involved and the paperwork is in progress -- slow -- but progress none-the-less. With any luck maybe you'll see a release this summer. In the meantime just head to your local mausoleum and pretend you're being chased down the dimly-lit corridors by some pus-oozing, maggot-infested corpse that won't stop until it deposits some gooey slime onto your face. Better yet, just have some beer and pizza.

As many of you know, the "One Dark Night" DVD was supposed to have been released this month, March. However, there appears to be a snag in the process that's going to again delay its release. When I receive new information I will post it here as well as on the ODN website.

This blog is free for anyone, fans or otherwise, to post comments about the 80's horror film "One Dark Night" . I've gotten many emails from the http://www.screamplay.biz website regarding the who's, why's, what's and where's regarding the making of the film and decided to create this blog so that fans can discuss its merits (or otherwise) in an open forum. Kindly keep the language at a PG13 rating or I'll be forced to deleat you. And it's better I deleat you than Raymar ;-)

I will be here along with the director, Tom McLoughlin, time permitting, to answer questions regarding "One Dark Night" or horror films in general. For those of you that have stumbled upon this blog by accident please go to http://www.screamplay.biz and find out why this is here.
